Veteran's Day is a time where we honor the men and women that are currently or have previously served in any branch of the United States military. With a Veteran's Day Education Party, you can teach your children about respect, compassion, the government, global relations, appreciation, and many other topics. If you know a veteran, invite them to the party to share their experiences (the ones that are not traumatic of course) with the children. Teach them about the branches of military, and the jobs that these veterans have done in order to keep them safe, and free. Think about the veterans that are serving now, and prepare a care package or two for them.
