The sitcom fantasy “That’s So Raven,” had its debut in 2003, but never made it to the movies. There was a spin-off from the show, video games, and many episodes, and a party theme of That’s So Raven might be a great idea for tweens and young teenagers to have a makeover event.

”Raven’s Makeover Madness” was part of Volume 4 of her DVD series. Part of the party supplies for this gathering should probably be some inexpensive makeup, perhaps placed in small bags for each of the girls to keep as party favors. They can either make each other over, or do it themselves in front of a “community” mirror. The discussions that will come from this makeover party will be a lot of fun for the young girls. They can do each other’s hair, as well, especially if hair jewelry and other supplies for the hairdos are provided for them. This activity would all be either in anticipation of the DVD they are about to see, or it can follow the DVD after they get some ideas from it.

As they sit to watch the show, make sure they have treats that are healthy, and tell them about a surprise after the show. This will make them curious about the upcoming activities. When they are handed their little makeup bags, they will be thrilled and anxious to work on their newest looks.

Since she is also famous for unusual disguises, the girls might have fun trying on wigs, hats, and glasses to change their looks. Raven is also supposed to have some psychic supernatural powers, so guessing games and quizzes would also be fun for them. And it might also be a good idea for them to sing along to the music video, which debuted in 2007, along with the 100th episode of “That’s So Raven.”
