Star Wars parties are not just thrown as a birthday party; they are commonly thrown as a general party for Star Wars fans. In this, there are many specific items that Star Wars fans look for to make it an official themed party.
Unlike other themes, Star Wars themes are very particular and the characters are very recognizable and not easily duplicated. This is why a Star Wars party needs official Star Wars supplies. With regards to the room in which your party will reside, you have a few options. You can turn it into “space”, or, you can turn it into a space ship. Either option is fun and exciting.
If you are having a birthday party for younger children, it would probably be best to turn your living room or family room into “space” by hanging black sheets from the ceiling to the floor. Star Wars Cake Ideas
Star Wars has been around for generations, and young boys love to play with Lego toys, so why not combine the two for a birthday cake that little boys will love?
These toys come in many different characters that can be used. They are inexpensive and Luke Skywalker, C3P0, and the Star Troopers are ready and waiting to be placed on top of a Star Wars cake. To be a bit more creative, make a light saber with green and grey frosting as a decoration that spans the entire top of the cake.
Another idea would be to make an entire C3P0 cake. The colors are not difficult, because this robot is mostly white, with some blue and black trim, buttons and gadgets. Be creative, as this robot will be recognizable, as long as the shape is right. A regular round cake, along with a tube cake on top will create that domed look. Just stuff the hole with some cake from the bottom, and cover it over with frosting.
Darth Vader is also a good character to use for a cake. He is all black, and various three-dimensional features can be placed on the cake. Use some glitter cake decorations to make it look shiny, or some frostings are shiny already.
