Those Powerpuff Girls are so much fun and so cute! Of course they had to be made of sugar and spice and everything nice. Your party menu can be equally nice with plenty of sugary and spicy treats to eat and drink. Nothing is better than some warm drinks on a cool day or some cool drinks on a warm day, depending on when you opt to hold your Powerpuff Girls party. Other things to keep in mind are plenty of table space for your buffet or if you opt to have a regular sit down meal, enough seats for everyone at the party.
Sugar and spice cider is nice! But it’s even better when served with cream puffs sprinkled with powdered sugar. There’s nothing wrong in buying cider from the local apple farm and purchasing spiced cider packets for this seasonal favorite. Follow package directions and serve spiced cider warm with a cinnamon stick in each cup. Cream puffs can be purchased in the freezer case and placed on trays to unthaw at least an hour before serving. These classic fall treats will go well with grilled bratwurst. Potato salad and baked beans are great go together dishes for a Garden party. A large bowl of harvest salad complete with radicchio and mixed greens is good way to balance the starches. Find a good bakery with hoagie buns that are worthy of a birthday menu and buy the best condiments. Brown or honey mustard, relish and chopped onions not to mention ketchup or barbeque sauce are must have toppers for cheese or plain brats.
The menu can be very filling, but with kids there is always a chance of something spilling. Even adults can get kind of messy when eating! You'll want to have plenty of paper towels and napkins on hand to catch any spills quickly. Also themed paper tablecloths are a good idea for covering the table, but saving your regular tablecover from threat of spillage. By just adding even one simple food item to the menu will help create
a complete Powerpuff Girls theme party feeling. |
