The Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Rally can be a really tough affair with plenty of big hog Harley-Davidson riders and tattooed sleeves on their arms or a relaxing event with older retired folks riding cross country and Harley-Davidson enthusiasts. Many times you’ll get a combination of both at bigger motorcycle rallies across the country. Whatever your guest list looks like you’ll be sure to make a hit with some classic party foods.
Since this is a motorcycle rally you are bound to get outside and look at everyone’s motorcycles. There will be a fair amount of bragging to be sure, but you can also brag about your grilled dishes for the buffet. You can grill a pizza for the kids at the party which they will love. You can grill up some bbq veggies to start a party on the taste buds of your guests. Lastly and most famously, you can grill up some meat. It doesn’t take too much effort to turn your plain hamburgers and grilled pork chops into something spectacular for the guests.
Grilled Stuffed Pork Chops
For this delicious motorcycle rally meal you’ll need the following ingredients: six pork chops, one box of stuffing mix made up following instructions on the box, grill, lit with coals burning, butter, wax paper, meat tenderizer.
If frozen, thaw out motorcycle rally pork chops. Place on clean counter or cutting board. Use a butcher knife to remove the bone if attached and slice open the pork chops along the side. Leave a quarter inch to half inch thick strip of meat on one side of the pork chop so it remains connected, butterfly fashion.
Lay open the pork chop on the cutting board. Pick up the meat tenderizer/meat punch and pound in the pork chop to flatten and thin it out. You’ll want to work from the center of each pork chop side outwards. Be careful not to break the strip of skin holding the two sides of pork chop together. Keep tenderizing the meat until it’s about a quarter of an inch thick all around.
Place a few tablespoons of pre-made stuffing on the butterflied pork chop. Roll the pork chop up around it and secure with a piece of twine or tooth pick. Repeat with other pork chops. Place the stuffed pork chops on the grill and cook until the pork is white all the way through and has nice grill marks.
Stuffed Grilled Pork Chops are going to be the yummiest items on your Motorcycle Rally Brunch. You’ll have to pick up plenty of paper goods to serve them up to the guests on. By just adding even one simple food item to the menu will help create
a complete Motorcycle Rally theme party feeling. |
