Minnie Mouse loves a picnic with all her friends. Throw a picnic at the local park and provide everyone with Minnie ears! Ask everyone to come dressed as Minnie Mouse. Decorate the tables with polka-dot tablecloths and hang vividly-colored streamers from trees. Serve the appropriate picnic/party food in colorful baskets. Minnie would have sandwiches, watermelon, lemonade, and cake with an image of herself on top. Pack a basket with tea party supplies, if you want. (Don’t forget the basket filled with bottles of wine for the older guests!) Make sure the plates and napkins are bright and cheerful; consider a party pack with favors for the occasion.
Making Minnie bag tags and/or zipper pulls and playing “Mouse Tag” will occupy your young guests, as will a piñata shaped like a cat or a heart. Fill the pinata with Dots, Twizzlers, Tootsie Rolls, and old-fashioned lollipops. Have a contest to see who has the best costume and give the winner an autographed poster of Minnie herself. Run relay races around the park and play “Pin the Tail on Goofy.” You can have a treasure hunt to look for something Donald Duck hid. Keep crayons and Minnie Mouse coloring books out on the tables for budding artists. By the time your leave, they will be full-fledged Mouseketeers!

What better way to celebrate a little girl’s birthday then by throwing her a Minnie Mouse party with homemade party supplies? For those who are on a tight budget, make handmade Minnie Mouse party supplies that will please any Minnie Mouse fan. Minnie Mouse party colors should be pink, white, and black. Cut out various pictures of Minnie Mouse and hang on the walls. Cut out three round circles from black construction paper, one for the face and two for the ears (or cut out one piece). Cut out a pink bow tie from pink construction paper and add white dots. Use these cutouts as large wall décor or use or connect a series of them making a birthday banner. Research different stylized banners for additional ideas.
Homemade Minnie Mouse centerpieces are necessary party supplies. Take pink, white, and black feathers, colored balloons, faux or real flowers, necklace beads, and foam circles. Use the foam circles as the main pieces of the centerpiece. Place the feathers around the base of the foam circles, and tie balloons around the base for example. String beads around the centerpiece or on the party table. Since this is a Minnie Mouse themed party, draw a large Minnie Mouse on a sheet of paper or poster board.
This is a great idea if the guests at a Minnie Mouse party are a little older. For an activity, let the kids create Minnie Mouse bracelets with red and white beads. They can wear them at the party and take them home too.

Minnie Mouse Cake Ideas
A Minnie Mouse cake might take the shape of the famous Mickey Mouse ears. Those very distinctive ears are familiar to children all over the world. And to make it feminine so that we know it’s Minnie Mouse instead of Mickey Mouse, we’ll need to dangle some earrings onto it.
Perfect for a little girl’s birthday party, just take two separate cakes, preferably frosted with dark chocolate, and attach them with a few twisted chocolate licorice sticks. This will make it look like Minnie Mouse’s ears with an attachment.
Outline the ears with some red hots to make it feminine. There are also jewel-like candy ornaments, as well as silver ball cake decorations to add to the look.
Chocolate licorice sticks can be carried to the earring design, leading to a cluster of small colored marshmallows at the end. It will all be laying flat on a cake plate, so the earrings won’t dangle, but they’ll help make the ears look like Minnie’s. If the cake plate is red, or better yet, red with white polka dots, this will add to the Minnie Mouse theme. And a red bow, perhaps made of wide ribbon, can top off the look when placed between the ears.
