Personalized Fiesta Invitations
Invite your guests to a fiesta with beautiful and fun personalized fiesta invitations. Colorful Mexican sombreros cut from poster board make great invitations. Cut two of the same size, tape them together at the top, using the tape like a hinge and write the party information on the second one. On the top one write the guests name and say something like; “Hola! (Guest’s name) you are invited to a fiesta!” Any image that makes you think of the southwest would work for this type of invitation. For example, a cactus with a flower on it would make a great invite. Cut the cactus shape from green poster board; tape it to a second cactus shape like the sombrero using tape as a hinge at the top. This time glue a small colorful silk flower to the cactus to look like it is in bloom.

What To Say in the Invitations
Always give your guests the basic information, time, place, date and your contact info. Then give then any special instructions. Will it be a costume party? They need to know. If the margaritas will be flowing, then they need to know that there will be alcohol and a designed driver is “required”. Add a line like, “Because you are very special to me please bring a designated driver with each vehicle”.

When To Mail the Thank You Notes
Mail your invitations out in time for at least two things to happen. One, the guests can RSVP you in time (phone calls work for this) and two, if they need to get together a costume give them time to get it done. Two to three weeks is the minimum amount of time to mail out the invites.
