Cutting Of Land: The Cutting Of Land, an Earth Day Party Game, is going to be a good lesson for kids and adults of all ages to learn as to how cutting the trees are causing the cutting of land with water. For this project, we need to have sand that is tightly packed into the bottom of the bucket or the bowl and then we need to take that cake of sand out of the bowl or bucket. Once the tightly packed cake of the sand is out, make horizontal burrows through the length of the cake and then place the twigs across the length of the burrows. Then you can place the cake of sand on the plate and add water to it, we will see that the cake is standing its ground. Just don’t pour a lot of water because we just want to emphasize on the importance of trees and their absence. Then take the twigs out and you will see the water coming through the horizontal burrows and the cake starts to lose its shape and ultimately would show cracks into it and break. This is going to be an awesome depiction of cutting of land with the excessive cutting down of the trees. You can ask your guests to make this project on their own with the same things that you have used in your project. |
