Dinosaur Party Invitations
Creative Invitation Ideas
Kids love dinosaurs! So have a dinosaur party for that special child. Start out with creative invitations. Using green or brown card stock or poster board cut out dinosaur shapes. Next, use a tape like a hinge at the top or side (depending on the shape of the dinosaur and tape a second piece of square or rectangular shaped piece of white card stock or poster board to the back. Again, the shape of the second piece depends on the shape of the dinosaur cutout. Write some facts about dinosaurs on the top dinosaur cutout and the party info on the white sheet. Place the party info so the dinosaur shape covers it completely. On the side of the white sheet, draw grass or trees.
What To Say in the Invitations
You want to tell the parents everything they may need to know about the party and ask them to tell you anything you may need to know. Tell them the time, date, location, your contact information, and when you need their RSVP. Since this is a child’s party and depending on the ages of the children the parents may or may not plan to stay with them; be sure to ask if there are any diet restrictions. You need to know if a child is diabetic for example or if a child has a food allergy.
When To Mail the Dinosaur Party Invitations
If this is a costume party, try to mail the invitation three to four weeks in advance. However, if it is not a costume party and not during the holiday season, then plan on two to three weeks in advance. If you choose two weeks, give the parents your phone number and email mail address so you can get their replies quickly.
