Dance Party Invitations
A Dance Party can be great fun, and if the invitation is unique the guests will anticipate the great time. Depending on whether the Dance Party has another inside theme, like a certain dance era, be sure to give guests time to contemplate the wardrobe.
When To Mail the Invites For a Dance PartyAttire is usually pretty important for a dance party, so be sure to give guests time to shop, or put it all together. Giving them about two weeks advance notice is appropriate. However, if the party includes costumes, such as an Eighties Dance Party or a Charleston Dance Party, then give guests an extra week, at least, to get it all together. They may even have to make their costumes, or rent them.
Hand Designed Invitations For a Dance PartyWhen the Dance Party has another theme to it, like the 1950’s or the 1920’s, the invitations should reflect the era. A picture of a couple dancing the Charleston says it all for a Dance Party with a 1920’s theme. And if the invitation is designed uniquely, it will be a keepsake of the event, as well. Be sure to let guests know if they will be required to wear costumes, or if a certain activity will be a Charleston Contest, for example. All the other pertinent information about the party day or night should also be included, like the date, time, and location.
Thank You NotesBirthday parties can also be Dance Parties, so be sure to thank guests for any gifts that were given, too.
