21st Birthday Party Invitations
A 21st Birthday Party is an event about coming of age. Legal age, that is. In most states it is against the law to drink alcohol before a 21st birthday. So, most 21-year olds will want some type of alcohol at their party to celebrate. But even though they’re 21, supervision of this party should still be present, and designated drivers should be appointed.
Unique Invitations for a 21st Birthday Party Start the fun with a unique invitation. It might be a blank card that is found in a drugstore. Maybe it has a picture of a wine glass on it, obviously celebrating something. On the inside, it might say, “I finally made it – come help me celebrate my 21st!” Be sure to include the day of the week, the date, and the time that and place of the event. Some parties require bringing one’s own bottle or bottles of alcohol, especially if some guests prefer beer. In this case, the invitation should read “BYOB.”
Printable Invites In some cases, it might be smart to print out invitations from the Internet. These are usually free, and they include all of the information needed in an invitation. Use card stock or specialty paper to make it more attractive.
When To Mail The Thank You Notes After a 21st Birthday Party It is customary to mail Thank You notes shortly after the party. This way, guests will know that the gifts they brought were appreciated, and the timing for thanking them was important to the guest of honor. Up to two weeks past the date of the party is acceptable for getting those important Thank You notes out to guests.
